It could also have sliding doors in the front to hide the mess if it is a messy boy’s room, but access will be slightly more difficult.  

 

 

 

Woodgrain wardrobe interiors are substantially more expensive but can give that homely look.

Mirrored Doors

Here is another standard layout for a small robe. This one has four storage drawers under the shelving.

Sliding mirror doors can make your room appear larger, and perfect if you want to look at yourself. If you are a tad overweight like I am then this may not appeal to you.

As new houses are getting larger, they often have walk in robes as standard in the master bedroom while others wait until their children leave home and then turn their vacated rooms into walk in robes.

There are simple mistakes which you can easily avoid in creating an indestructible wardrobe.

16mm thin round hanging rail of any considerable span will sag, and so one should always use either oval or 25mm thick round.  

 

 

 

Shoe Racks.

Shoe racks can be a good organizer if you yourself can be organized.

(Good for females / little more than useless for males).

Clothes Basket.

A clothes basket is perhaps a good accessory when used with a common plastic liner for easy retrieval of washing.

 

 

 

Cane baskets.

One or two cane baskets can be an additive to rest on the shelving to increase the storage capacity of items like socks etc.
